2: Squash and Stretch on the Head (part one)
Here are my first attempts at lesson two. I actually did these right after the last set of sketches, but haven’t been able to post them until now.

I’ve been drawing heads.
Yes, more from lesson one (still!). I was hoping to get a lot more construction sketches done this weekend but you know how they just fly on by!
One more from lesson one. These went a little bit better, though I noticed that for some reason I tend to add a bit of extra width to the heads. I’ll have to keep a tab on that.
One good thing I’ve noticed is that I’m getting a bit more confident with just putting the pencil on paper and going for it. These were sketched out much quicker than any of the previous pages of heads. Now I just need to keep my accuracy under check!
I have been having problems with comments. If you tried before but didn’t have any luck, try again. It should all be fixed now!
More from lesson one. Ok. These ones really are giving me a headache — they’re just not going right! I will come back to them…
Ok, I have my scanner back, so let’s get on with the show…
Another bear head, which I’m fairly pleased with. I’ve yet to check it against the original so be prepared for me to change my mind!

Next up are a bunch of eggs. Yes, still lesson one. Now, I’ve been working on some of the more complex heads as well and I’ve found these simple eggs to be the hardest thing! I’m not really happy with them at all… so I guess I’ll be doing these again!
More to come…
